Albino Red Ear Sliders
Albino RES (Red-Eared Sliders) are the first-ever captive-bred turtle morph and marked the beginning of the growing hobby. Albino Red-Ears are a very straightforward morph, displaying a yellow/white shell with yellow highlights in the shell patterns, along with light red/pink eyes and a striking red ear.
There are several different genetic lines of Albino Red-Eared Sliders currently produced. While each line is albino, they are genetically distinct, meaning that breeding two different lines together will not produce albino offspring. The most commonly available lines are the Clive line (the original), the Gerard line, and the Clark line (sometimes referred to as the Allison line). These different lines are mainly relevant if you're interested in breeding them.
